Dr C Yeates - Emperor's Gate Surgery

I wanted to see a GP in person and was given a callback. The reason I called was that my face was swelling quickly around my eye. I was asked to send pictures of my face, so I did. I was told by Dr confidently and loudly that what I have is astye, that she had seen many,and that that is what it is. I expressed my concern that it wasn't a STYE. I was shut down by her having experience, and that was that.I ended up going to A&Ethe next morning and was given antibiotics for INFECTION.

At 81 years old I am always so grateful to Emperors Gate Surgery for the extraordinary care I have received over the years. In particular, Dr Stott is one of the finest doctors I have ever had. Thorough, detail oriented and compassionate. Many can learn from her. Reception staff react quickly and efficiently. In short, Emperors Gate is an exemplary surgery.

Not helpful at all. When most needed the doctors do not step up and do nothing to try and help. Extremely bureaucratic process and hard to access. The reception is also not friendly and makes no effort to make you comfortable. Doctors are more worried about their jobs and position than actually trying to improve one's condition and health. Very procedural and bureaucratic. Definitely would not recommend.
