A modern landmark, claimed to be the tallest in Britain. Something very pacifying about watching this spin steadily.. The track to it claims surveillance cameras monitor it but I cannot see where theyd be, regardless of that I opted to find another vantage point although not quite so clear..

I just came back from visiting the turbine. Parked next to the gate hopped over and walked in. As I got to the base of the turbine I was horrified to hear over a tannoy I must leave the area immediately aa thus is private property. Thus spoilt the experience for me. Why is this on Google?? Another form of control of the public.

This restaurant is one of Buckinghamshire's best kept secrets, with it's stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The menu options are outstanding, including a fashionable 'vegan' option. I had the Thai green curry which was the dish of the day. It was simply outstanding!! Tom Kerridge was guest chef that day. You're advised to book well in advance, although if you just turn up, you'll sometimes get lucky..! Access is along a footpath situated approximately halfway along Martin Dalby Way. You will need to climb over the gate (ignore the 'private property keep out' signs), then it's roughly a 10 minute walk to the foot of the turbine. You then enter a lift that takes you most of the way to the restaurant, then it's a spiral staircase that takes you to the very top.

Having visited the turbine upon Tom's review, I can confirm the quality of this idealistic family visiting centre. Great views. Not very windy.
