The staff really care about the clients. And even if they're busy they stop what their doing to spend time and have several different conversations at different times with all of the clients individually or as a group throughout their shift. Music is played and sang with or to the clients. Or we watch movies with the clients. With that being said the working environment is a different story. The staff can be very "Cliquey". Certain staff aren't the most welcoming to those not in their "Clique". I came every now and then so naturally I wasn't in their clique and was treated as such. This meant that my shift was either enjoyable or toxic depending on what staff were there. Either way after a couple months of that, I told my agency that I had had enough and they never sent me back. And after talking to other workers that had been there, I was saddened to hear that they were treated the same. It is shameful because the place is great, the clients are so lovely and if you're working with the friendly staff members you will have such an enjoyable & memorable shift.
