Crookhorn Lane Surgery

This surgery is dreadful. Been with it for 2.5 years and NEVER able to get an appointment. Partner was seriously ill and for days on end I called to get an appointment. No sorry none available was the constant retort.Called an ambulance in the end and even they did not pick up he had an extreme gall bladder problem. Constipation they said. Thank god for my persistence in the endless calls to the surgery.A few days later he was seen outside of this practice and immediately admitted to hospital. Gall bladder had exploded and he had sepsis, immediate antibiotic drip and operated on the following day. The surgeon told him he is lucky to be alive. The surgery online system is a poor excuse for delaying tactics as well, you can book for a jab no problem! An appointment no chance. People really should be asking why? Why is that! I would rate this surgery and its system at 0 . Appalling! Here I am again today 2.5 years on trying to get an appointment.48 mins in a waiting system at 8am. Finally the call is answered and I am told a call back will happen today between now and 1.30pm from a DR. Here we go again!

First visit and everything was OK. Easy to get an appointment, date and time of my choice.

Been trying to book an appointment about a lump thats either infected or cancerous. They keep giving me the call back tomorrow we are fully booked and seem very unsympathetic about my situation. Im in pain and they dont seem to care. I even asked if I could book an appointment for the following day now yesterday and they just repeated call again tomorrow if this turns out to be cancer I will sue them.

No wonder everybody ends up pregnant or screwed, no contraceptive help, no help for heart conditions! Pile me off to st Marys In Portsmouth! Appalling omg embarrassment! I feel ashamed

Absolutely shocking doctors can never get an appointment and when I can I have to go over 6 miles to one of there other surgeries when I live in the same road as this one ( less than 50mtr away). And to top it all off, we had an appointment with my sons pediatrician on the 8th of July to review his medication, which was agreed to be put on repeat prescription, the pediatrician sent this to our doctors surgery and was told it should be ready 12th July as the 8th was a Friday, WELL IM STILL WAITING FOR IT TO BE SIGNED OFF AND ITS NOW 25TH JULY 2022 AND ALL I GET TOLD BY THE DOCTORS IS WE ARE WORKING ON IT WE ARE VERY BUSY, YET EVEYTIME I GO IN THERE ITS EMPTY JUST ONE RECEPTIONIST, NO ONE WAITING TO BE SEEN. THIS IS SHOCKING BEHAVIOUR AND THIS NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO DOCTORS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THERE TO HELP US. LUCKLY MY SONS MEDICATION ISNT REQUIRED FOR A SERIOUS HEALTH CONDITION. PORTSDOWN GROUP YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!!!!!!!!!!
