Excellent. I was very reluctant to buy from a car dealer but so far so good. A new MOT was put on the vehicle as promised (and this did not come cheaply - 3 new tyres for a 4x4). I was given a reasonable trade price for my old car. Service was excellent, car very clean. Only quibble was the car was on on empty on fuel when taken for a test drive. Would recommend Purbrook Car Sales to family and friends.

Stay well clear. I bought a vw passat from here. When i test drove the car it was in a good condition. After this i left the car with them for 5 days for an MOT. the 3 MOTs the car had previously all had the same advisory about a leaking brake caliper. This was never fixed but the mot they did had no advisory about it which was suspicious. When i picked the car up 5 days later after seeing it it felt completely different to drive but as this was my first car i was in a rush to buy it and drive it away. It turns out the turbo had been changed and was about to blow according to a genuine vw garage. I believe it was swapped from the owners car which was also vw passat. Other problems later occured such as: leaking shock absorbers, failing brakes including the leaking caliper, worn dual mass fly wheel, worn clutch which was slipping, worn wheel bearings, blown turbo which would of costed 1500 plus 500 labour, turbo intercooler hoses, and many other exspensive problems. Badically a death trap not fit to be on the road clearly.I bought the car with 121000 which was a low millage for its age of 14 years old and the car went into limp home mode and was scrapped 128500 miles in 6 months. The only good thing i can say is that they let you yest drive the car on your own, however the cars they buy and sell are unreliable and are not subject to regular maintenance. Total costs for repairs would of come to roughly 5500. Also the engine code was missing and when i had it checked by a mechanic he thought by tge conditon of the engine it looked over 200000 miles on it and it had loads of problems logged in the ecu
