Both my other half and I recently went for a re-test and the optician was fantastic. New prescription sorted very quickly, then glasses re-glazed at a follow-up a week later.
After bouncing around the usual chains Jarrod Headleys have been a substantial improvement over past experiences - I even bought glasses online once, an experience so bad blindness would have been a decisive improvement.
The re-glazing was so efficient it was done by the time Id taken contacts in and out twice (thats a balance between efficient service and me being hopeless with contacts though).
Its been clear from the outset the focus is on simply providing what we need. No pushy upselling, or overpriced cheap and nasty frames. A quality local opticians.
Very glad we chose them over the local chain store.
