Great stay over Easter break, staff helpful, book in was easy and straight forward. Site was tidy and clean with good toilet and shower blocks. Short walk into Fakenham which has good few pubs and shops. only downside was the noise of the crows, but thats nature i suppose.

We booked to stay because of the site's convenience to visit the Thursford Christmas show, we were a party of three units and had hard standing pitches, I didn't see any other campers while I was there. The staff on reception were very welcoming and friendly, our hard standing pitch was huge. We were provided with a welcome envelope on arrival along with our toilet key for which a 5 refundable deposit was required. The welcome information was very useful and included details of nearby pubs etc and a map of the site. The toilets and showers were closed for cleaning between 8am and 10am which I found very strange as this I would have thought would have been the busiest time they would be used so we only made use of the facilities once and used our own the rest of the time. The dog exercise area is large, although all of the dog waste bins were full to overflowing, I went and let reception know and they did go and empty one of them. Unfortunately, with it being December there were Christmas parties in the stands on both the Friday and Saturday night that we were there, this resulted in loud music being played until midnight and the empty pitches next to our caravan being used as car parking which meant that at the end of the night people returned to their cars talking loudly whilst defrosting their cars, this disturbed both me and my dogs and meant that I got little sleep on both of those nights. It might be worth the site deciding if it wants Christmas party nights or a caravan site in December as I do not feel that both work well together. Overall a decent site for the money.
