Luke Jennings Tree Surgery

Luke Jennings Tree Surgery Ltd reduced and shaped 16 Lime trees in our High Street Standon Churchyard located in a conservation area during January 2023. Luke assisted our church wardens with the tree works application for authority from both the East Herts Council and the Diocese of St Albans. The tree work involved trees to prune by 50% leaving growth points and 20% epicormic growth. Work was completed satisfactory within 4 days and the site left clean and tidy all arising removed chipped and recycled.

A first class experience. Cannot fault this team for the job they did. Fantastic work on a substantial tree, chipping and waste all removed and lawn somehow looks like its not been walked on. A professional outfit that I would highly recommend.

We asked Luke to reduce and remove the dead wood from a large Ash Tree and Conifer Tree in our garden as well as reduce a 10ft high 100ft long hedge which borders our garden. I was happy with the price he quoted so Luke and his team carried out the work last week. I didn't know what to expect, never having had this sort of work carried out before. I can only say that I couldn't have been happier! All the guys were friendly, helpful and very professional. Nothing was too much trouble and they checked that we were happy with the work as they went along. The Ash Tree is very large and it took Luke about 6 hours to complete the work. During this time his team were constantly removing the cut branches, logging the dead ones for me and chipping the green wood. When they left everything was tidy, there was nothing left behind and the garden and drive looked great. With regard to the work itself we are very pleased with the outcome; the trees and hedge look much better and the garden has far more light than before.
