Off The Hook Fish And Chips

No one in the shop when I visited so had to wait for the fish which was ok, the chips had been cooked previously so they were cold and overcooked, for 9 I was expecting better. Parking: Youre very lucky if there is a space outside the shop.

I would give more stars if they were available. This is the BEST chippy Ive ever been to! The food is amazing and so fresh! They also do kebabs which are well worth a try. The gluten free scampi is the best, I hadnt had it in years so I am so happy I can have it whenever now!! The staff are also some of the loveliest people Ive met, so friendly and kind. Highly recommend! Dietary restrictions: Amazing gluten free option and so tasty

Ate here on Friday night, sat in, was first time we had sat in here since New owners opened up. We gave up on last owners many years ago as fell out with them as they always started disinfecting the floor as you were eating near closing time. We complained so they told us to go elsewhere....we did. Now the place has a lovely fresh feel to it, nicer decor and the fish and chips were perfect. Best fish I've had in years and my wife also agreed this was the case. Lady who took our order was lovely and smiley, this is what good service is all about. Well done all...we will definitely be back. We did come back tonight, 27.04.23, two lots of fish and chips 18.00 spot on, young man who served us was very polite, we left sated and happy...which is all you want out of a damn good chippy.

Honestly I love this fish and chips. Especially on how tasty this high quality chips they offered. But in my last visit, chips was cooked long ago so it wasn't as good as it was and we not informed sauces are charged only afte we ordered. The thing made me utterly upset is the fact I paid 9 for scampi where it contains just 7 pieces. This means 1.30 per piece. I am sorry but this is too expensive and certainly not worth it. Summary Don't get scampi and takeaway is better than dine in.
