Dont buy anything from this. I sent a email not to delivery the item to my door with 24 hors notice because I was not at home. They still delivery the item to my door and charge me 30 for fail delivery. I will try my best to avoid this company. POOR SERVICE ****************************************** I wish I could reply it there. 1) By law, If the seller used a courier, they should chase the courier to find out whats happened to your order - its not my responsibility. I do not need to communicate with the courier. 2) The couriers contacted me with an unknown number 3) You sent me a email at 4:58pm on the 6 Jan. and I replied at 5:30pm on the 6 Jan. You then replied me back at 11:15 on 9 Jan. In this case, I believe I Tried my best to reply you back. AND it shows how BAD is your COMMUNICATION NOT ONLY between the customer and the company, also between couriers and the company. where the couriers should also the receive the information I provided. 4) I asked the courier not to come at 8:30pm on 8 Jan, the driver was 2 hours away. The courier did not mention any FAIL DELIVERY charge, any consequence or any alternative. They even asked me to reschedule. According to The Consumer Rights Act 2015, "There are now also new, clear rules for what should happen if a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill or as agreed." Clearly They are not trying their best to take care me as a customer. 5) In fact, This is not a FAIL DELIVERY as I did stop them, not to come. 6) and then she said the driver came. While I checked the CCTV and with my concierge guy, I can confirm no one came at 11:45am. She Lied and was MISLEADING me . I have attached the CCTV to the REGULATOR. 7) Even if they came, which has shown that the communication is really bad, THEY DONT LISTEN. Unless they could provide valid explanations for ALL ABOVE. I believe I have a lot of reasons NOT to pay the fail charge and ask for a compensation. ANYWAY, I think there are ONLY 2 CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES in Spotted Penguin. I called, I emailed or I wrote a complaint, all would be directed to them. Good luck, if you are buying any items from them. Even worse if you have any issues with the items or the service.

Had a wardrobe delivered damaged, contacted customer service over a week ago arranged collection they didnt show up and have rang four times and promised collection again and still havent turned up ! Avoid terrible

Appalling. I had arranged delivery for a certain day and they did not show up. The knock on effect is huge. Very disappointing Do not use.

Heed the warnings and avoid at all costs!! Ordered an office chair from Office Furniture Direct which is a trading division of The Spotted Penguin Company Ltd. It came damaged and the colour was very different from the photo on the website. They have done absolutely everything they can to avoid fulfilling their obligations under statutory law. They claim items are bespoke and therefore nonreturnable. They are off the shelf items, arriving next day, being labelled as bespoke to avoid people being able to return them under online/distance selling regulations. Despite items being damaged they claim the consumer has to pay shipping costs, contrary to consumer law. If they dont want to deal with you any longer, they block your e-mail, preventing you from carrying out any ongoing e-mail conversation. After repeatedly having to educate them on current consumer law, threaten with legal action and trading standards, they eventually advised they would refund the product. Only for them not to.. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Still awaiting my refund..
