Within a minute of me joining this Practice, I was provided with incorrect information about emergency appointments and nearly had to go four days without medication. A very kind receptionist (it wasnt Lisa, it was a young man whose name unfortunately escapes me) helped me get a quick phone call with Dr Ahmad Moukli. The male receptionist was very helpful, kept his word and was very on-the-ball (in the end). However, this could be due to the push back I was giving, as this was my first interaction with the practice. I expressed my concern with carrying on with them, that is when I got the help I was seeking. With that being said, he really was very helpful in the end. I then had a phone call with Dr Ahmad Moukli, who was rather abrasive to say the least! This was my first time talking to him and within minutes he was already setting a plan in place of what he wanted to do. So he certainly has passion for his job, however, I simply needed an emergency prescription (which luckily he did do). My full medical records werent even in the system and Dr Moukli was already saying what he wanted to do, saying that I should start looking at coming off my medications in the future without even giving me an assessment! This was over the phone and we have never even met in person, he really did give the impression that it was his way or no way. He was rather rude when asking for details and truly gave the impression that he wasnt interested in what I had to say. This was evident when I deliberately stopped talking to see if he was actually listening to me and he continued to go Mm hm, Mm hm as if following some script. It was seriously bizarre and the worst experience Ive had with a doctor to date! He really treated me quite disrespectfully and as if my own opinion and knowledge of my own health was not important, reiterating the point I said before; his way or no way. Rather immaturely he ended the phone call quite abruptly when things had been sorted, he seemed annoyed that I had provided my own opinion. I do believe I might have detected a bit of misogyny as well. I never leave reviews like this but this experience was just so bad I had to say something. Please save yourself the hassle, I would avoid joining with this practice.

If you can, avoid this surgery! And at any cost avoid Dr Ahmad Moukli, I have never come across with so rude, unprofessional and needlessly to say unhelpful Dr! Shame on our beloved NHS that have someone like him working for such a great organisation!

Not easy to get an appointment, they are clearly covering a large area with lots of patients. But once you do the GPs are kind and empathetic. They have given me invaluable support and advice with an ongoing plan. Thank you

Had a horrible experience with one of the GPs who was rude and, because of that, I ended up spending my weekend phoning 111 and desperately trying to get an appointment at Minor Injuries. One positive thing is that the surgery has a nice PPG (Patient Participation Group) but that can not, unfortunately, substitute for a lack of care and sympathy of this surgerys GPs.

PROSPECT HOUSE WARNING - PATIENTS RECORDS ARE NOT SECURE!! There was a mix up today and I was electronically sent someone elses medical history. I was being sent a document by a text link. I opened it and read the medical history before realising something was wrong, (in my defence it was small print and on my phone and it never crossed my mind to check the name). This I believe was sent to me in simple human error. I guess these things can happen?? Horrified I rang both the surgery and the patient to inform them. By the time I spoke to the elderly patient, it became apparent that although the surgery had called to say Id been sent the document in error, they had failed to state that I HAD indeed read the record and somehow she was under the impression it had been date of birth protected. I pointed out, my date of birth and the patients were different so their GDPR and security is also negligent. Whilst I accept I am not the victim of the breach, I found the whole situation deeply disturbing and made far worse by poor handling. The icing on the cake was the (head) doctor ringing me back to check if this time I had the right record; he could tell by my tone I was less than impressed. The thing is, the discussion between us earlier had involved the word cancer, I was now confused as to what had been mixed up and super anxious, also due to my Autism. I also was panicking that someone may have seen my own records. Far from reassuring me, apologising for giving me a shock or stating that their care was far below par, he was about as arrogant and dismissive as you can get. As if it shouldnt have troubled me at all. At one point he abruptly ended the call but he also called back as he could hear me protest, that's when I warned him about the date of birth security flaw. Just one other thing. I had cancer in 2020. A year before that, I had a biopsy. For ten long weeks I didn't get the result. When I kept chasing it up, the head receptionist (now gone I believe) was so intolerant of me that I gave up. I was so frightened of losing my cool with them, that by the time we realised I had got cancer and needed aggressive treatment, I had lived with it for almost a year. There has also been another incident with a locum doctor who when I explained I wasn't very good over the phone due to my Autism, told me "that's not an excuse". The sad thing is I thought the head doctor (Moukli) had regained my trust. Recent care had been good, but looking back, that was only when I visited with my husband (I do wonder if there is a little misogyny). Other times Dr Moukli does this strange hmm, hmm, thing nodding as if listening but zoning you out. The surgery is walking distance and I don't drive so now I am screwed, because I found myself telling the doctor his behaviour is disgusting. I think we can call that relationship irretrievably broken down! Be aware.
