Williams Handbaked

Bought a custard tart from Taylors Farm Burscough, it was well in date but it was the worst custard I have ever had was we under baked soggy pastry bottom. Never again...

Found this local (to me) company on Facebook, thought I'd order a few things to check them out before ordering gifts for family during 2021 as we weren't able to visit in person. The biscuits were amazing so we ordered different gifts for Mother's Day presents and Father's Day too. They were all well received and were so well presented too. I recently came back from visiting my family down south, after nearly 2 years, and was pleasantly surprised to find a mini hamper from them as a thank you for my previous purchases. It really made my day! It is so rare for a small business to show thanks to returning customers, so thank you Williams Handbaked. I will continue ordering from you for future events.

Can not rate this company high enough. With my order I selected the wrong address from the drop down list. I realised my mistake after they had been delivered to someone else. Once Williams heard of this they sent me a replacement box. to the right address! Fantastic customer service

:)) Yummy crumbly buttery oaty soft delicious sweet but not too sweet honey ish biscuits, one of the very best I've ever had-for sure!! Will look around 'The Owd Barn' in Mawdesley for any other of this WILLIAMS' range , what a treat!

We were so disappointed with our last packs of Eccles Cakes we purchased from the Grovener Garden Centre in Chester. They were very dry and lacked their usual flakey buttery taste of the puff pastry along with the filling falling out. The packaging has also been changed. They are now packed in pairs rather than the normal single four pack. Maybe has contributed to the quality issue. Please look into it. Updated Review: Would like to thank Rory and the team getting back us informing us of the reasons for quality issue with the particular batch we purchased. This has now been resolved and normal production services have now been resumed. We are delighted with the quality now and changed our star rating accordingly.
