what a company! from planning through to fitting absolutely excellent experience with contact Solar and I look forward to using their periodic checks/cleaning knowing that I am dealing with an exemplary company. this is what other companies /providers should aspire to. special mention though must be given to Matt as if all of the UK Workforce was like him then we would be the envy of the world. that is not to say the rest of the team are any less valued as they kept us posted every step of the way. anyone wondering whether to use Contact Solar then I say go for it you won't regret it !

Having not had great experience with solar companies (they have all been pretty busy recently I know) I found Contact sSolar to be excellent. Really responsive to queries, flexible and I felt like they were listening to me rather than just trying to sell me product. From initial contact through to final handover, they felt like a mature company that was focussing on customer service. In the solar industry at the moment that feels unusual, as demand trumps quality. The installation team were really professional and helpful, and the quality of the installation was high (really precise, neat job). Couldnt recommend more highly.

Sales Some solar energy companies have a sales team and there is more pressure to sign up when they visit your home. Contact Solar provide you with a quotation for solar panels and battery. There is no salesperson that comes to your house. I contacted five different companies for a quotation. Some tried to sell other products like heats pumps and some, in my opinion, gave an over inflated estimate of the savings you would make. Contact Solar provided the quotation I asked for. ( Sixteen Solar panels, inverter and about 10kW battery storage.) The first person that visits your home is the surveyor. They are checking all the practical aspects of the installation. Things like where to place the Inverter and batteries, assessing what scaffolding is required, looking at your current electrical system and earthing arrangements. Preinstall Information The people in the office are immensely helpful. They are happy for you to phone them and will answer all your questions. Like all of the solar companies the quotation that you receive is about 20 -22 pages long. You are therefore getting a large amount of facts and figures. The whole quotation can look quite daunting. If there is something you do not know- phone them, I did several times. The installation The installation wan done in one day! The two installers that were at my house were brilliant! The installers are self employed and that is all they do. Over a whole week they will install a separate solar system every day. (My house was a pain for them because the electrical meter and fuse box is at the front of the house and the inverter and batteries were going at the back. The said right away that this would take them longer to install the system and was I happy that they worked on in the early evening. Extremely hard working and cleaned up after themselves at the end. First class. Support after Installation The support from the people in the office is excellent. You must download and install an app on your phone. Again, the app is brilliant and gives you leads of information. An important thing about Contact Solar is that you pay nothing until the work is complete. First class company to deal with.

We had a short list of four companies for solar panels. Contact Solar stood out from the start with their comprehensive specification and estimate. They answer the telephone immediately and always responded to emails on the same day. On acceptance of their offer they did what they said on the day(s) we had agreed. The workmen were thorough, tidy, polite and the system works exactly as defined. Contact Solar is a model company.
