        Sunday lunch is very very good. Highly recommend any of the roast dinners.

        I ate there today with three friends, one of whom had eaten there before. She had raved about the food. So based on her recommendation we all went today for lunch. To be honest it doesnt look much from the outside. A bog standard looking pub to be honest. However inside it was nicely decorated and the seats were comfortable. The menus were a little tatty but the selection on offer was wide and varied. I had the gammon with pineapple and all the trimmings. It was gorgeous. One friend had the vegetarian Sunday lunch. The other two had the Stroganoff, I think? My mind has gone blank, sorry. It had beef in a sauce with rice and chips. Whatever it was they all loved their meals too. We had a coffee, also nice, but no puddings as we were all stuffed. I can honestly say it was a fantastic meal as was the service by the young staff. We will be visiting again.
