The staff are absolutely brilliant. Very helpful and always ready to help you and have a joke with you. I like that attitude as a little laughter helps your mood. Thanks all for your continued support. Robert

Poor service, very inconsiderate and thoughtless staff. My GP 's prescription clerk had missed off several of my medications which I normally collect from another pharmacy, resulting in extra time having to get the surgery to do further prescriptions which I brought here. One item was not in stock and I was told that I would be contacted when it came in - all fair enough. I was not contacted. I phoned them 2-3 weeks later to be told that it had been returned to the GP saying that I failed to collect as they only keep items for 3-4 weeks. I did point out that I had not collected as I had not been told that it was in, and that it was only just about 3 weeks. The sanctimonious jobsworth woman gave no consideration to the fact that these were their two errors (on top of my practice's multiple errors) or to the detriment to my health going without necessary medication. Her priority seemed to be self defence, blaming others at the pharmacy rather than to acknowledge that she is part of the team there and make any effort whatsoever to help. I am a consultant physician myself and my patients would certainly not tolerate this - they would be straight to PALS in the hospital. It really is bad enough having complex medical problems without having to repeatedly spend time sorting out everybody else's errors too. I should add to them that as I plan to retire soon I was going to move to them as they are closer - not now so that is the dispensing fee for 17 prescriptions every 4 weeks that you have lost from me........ EDIT - I have today received a BANNING notice which bans me from ALL Rowlands pharmacies stating that I had entered the pharmacy on 5th October 2021 (False - I phoned them), had been abusive (False - the assistant was abusive) and failed to collect an item within their timescale (also False as it was less than 3 weeks). No one contacted me about my complaint or the fact that they left me without medication having broken their own policies. As Rowlands run the outpatient pharmacy at my work and I am also a patient at that hospital, that creates some interesting issues in that I will have to delegate significant bits of my work to others and be unable to collect hospital prescriptions as a patient. For NHS services, complaining is not meant to result in a detriment to care and this clearly breaches that.
