The staff at the Spectacle Factory are welcoming and helpful, they have a smaller choice of frames than other opticians but go the extra mile to find something within your budget.

As I have worn glasses for 70 years I am fully conversant in what should happen. I was disappointed with the collection procedure. Basically here is your glasses are they okay one usually expects that the assistant would offer you the glasses to try on the most importantly check there fit, this did not happen. There was no offer of a page of text to read, it was a good job I had brought a page from my newspaper to check the clarity of the print. Otherwise the eye test and selecting frames was first class. Just a little more care and attention when collecting glass would improve the experience.

Who would have thought a day at the opticians would have been so enjoyable. Robert gave me some great advice and took the time to talk me through everything. He even picked the frames when I told him what I prefered. The guy works soooo hard, even makes the coffee! Traveled 2 hours to visit, that's how great the service is. I'm new to varifocals and picked up my new Carrera Ducati glasses today. So very pleased, the Zeiss lenses are fantastic and love the frames. When I say new to varifocals I did try a pair about 5 years ago but had to return them to Vision Express as I just could not get on with them at all, they were horrible to look through. Going up stairs was a nightmare but these lenses are great. The technology at The Spectacle Factory and know how certainly made a difference as the moment I put my new varifocals on they were great. I know it will take a couple of weeks to get use to them properly but considering that straight away they were comfortable suggests it may not take that long. Getting some Zeiss drive safe and prescription sunglass lenses too after today's visit. Great service etc.etc. etc. Thank you.

Superb service and products. The Spectacle Factory truly cares and has a passion for helping people find the perfect pair of glasses as they claim. The quality of service and brands are top notch. I tried shopping for glasses at all of my local areas and the options were very basic and limited, and the quality felt cheap across the board. Not only that, but it was difficult to get the optometrists to make recommendations based on my needs, and to educate me on why it would be a good choice. It was very much, "Look around, pick something, and we will ring it up" rather than, "Here are things that I think would look good and match your style and needs." The turnaround time was very quick, and even though I wasn't able to visit the physical location the staff helped me not just find the right glasses that excited me, but they provided tips on making proper adjustments so they fit perfectly. I will order from them again for my next pair and I know I will get the best service and products for my budget.
