Springfield Manor Gardens

Small number of individuals (mostly the domestics) and the deputy manager are competent and offer the level of rapport and support that you expect from a care home. Sadly, the manager/ownership/management is terrible. The level of professionalism from the senior management is typified in the story below. I received a call at 8:30pm, while my Gran was in hospital, she was a resident of just under 12 months at Springfield at the time. The call was telling me that my Gran would not be accepted back into the home because she had raised a safeguarding report against them, so they "couldn't meet her needs". This effectively made my Gran homeless while she was in hospital, sadly she passed away the day after hearing this news. Worst of all, it wasn't even a manager who called to have a sensitive conversation about my Grans needs, but a carer who I could hear had someone barking orders at him in the background. For these reasons I would not recommend.

What a lovely care home, the staff are so kind and caring. My grandad stayed there for about 10 weeks and I couldnt have asked for better care. I would definitely recommend this care home for anybody looking for a care home for their loved ones.

Highly recommend this care home. My mum has been resident here since June 2021. The staff are amazing, very caring and supportive. Always plenty of activities for resident to participate in if they wish. Mum especially loves the singers who come in on a regular basis.
