Had a lovely walk round the main lake then upto the smaller lakes over the road. We fed the birds with all natural bird seeds the sun was out and although the free car park was busy the walk was quiet and very enjoyable with loads of wild plants and nature to be enjoyed. Look out for the visitors centre and the sculptures it's a lovely place to spend a couple of hours, a hidden gem, then visited the Longton Chippy on the way home first time we've been and my hubby had a super big bag of crispy chips and I had a very good crispy fish with salad, It was a lovely relaxing afternoon and of course we shared the fish and chips with the dog. Longton is a lovely village to visit.
