Its been nearly five months and still no diagnosis for my son. Theyre had his form and no one has even looked at them. Absolutely ridiculous.

DREADFUL! 5 years on a waiting list - still no diagnosis! They put you on a waiting list then put you on another waiting list if they think your child has asd. So five years in and no diagnosis. Still waiting ! Child is out of school, suicidal and none of that matters .yes they say they care and well done if you actually see a person .we havent seen anyone since my son was put on the pathways waiting list in March 2020! The service was always poor now because of the pandemic it is virtually non existent.

Absolute disgrace..been waiting for an assessment for almost 3 years..my son was 11 at the time!..,filled all forms in as requested at first contact and a phone call..they recieved all the pointers on my sons autism and I've even been to local MP..GP and very soon the papers will be printing my story!...,they constantly let people down..the stories I have from other parents is endless...they have funding but even the education office stated to me that CAMHS fail children constantly...I recieved a letter a few months ago telling me that we were close to the top of the list...still nothing...i call only to be told that the person i need to speak to is kn another vall and they will call me back..THEY NEVER DO!! ..disgusting..too many children suffering and many resulting in the unthinkable...CAMHS!!!.YOU ARE A DISGRACE!!
