We purchased our first property through Chesters recently and it was an easy, stress free process when dealing with them. Ellie was always really helpful and on hand to answer any questions we had (a lot as first time buyers!) and all within really good time. Cannot fault the service, highly recommended.

Avoid at all costs. No regular inspections. E-mail them about problems in my house (leaks and mold building) and took 8 months to see some action. Took excellent care of the house I lived in for 31 months and they wanted to get my full deposit of 575 due to a mark in the bath and the oven not cleaned (I paid a professional cleaner on the house before I left). Bad communication. Would not let from them again. * * * Edit after Chesters reply * * * It is not true that they only charged 50%. They first asked for the full deposit over the phone (Claire told me) and then they saw it was unfair and tried for 50%. I hired professional cleaners for the house before I left and paid 31 months of the rent without delaying 1 day (+18K) so saying that the landlord was left out of pocket due to uncleanliness is, at least, unfair. I accept my responsibility as the cleaners did not clean inside the oven and therefore I am okay to deduct 25 from the deposit to sort it out. The bath is completely functional as I used it until 1 day before leaving the place. There are some marks that do not require the bath to be replaced. And yes, I am a small business owner and rule number 1 is to provide the best service. That's why all my 92 reviews are 5 stars.

I have rented a property through Chesters for the last 18 months. From moving in, to moving out, the process was made so easy and trouble free. I found all Chesters Staff to be extremely polite, professional caring and friendly. They were quick to respond and resolve any queries. Nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chesters to anyone. Special thanks to Chesters staff, Leah, Claire and Elle, all are a credit to the company.
