I had 10 sessions of therapy here after being diagnosed with Aspergers. My therapist looked about 20 not what I was expecting. Wish Id never bothered. Apart from being smothered in empathy was told theres no cure. Wasnt told about any coping strategies or anything beneficial. Last appointment arrived only to be told shed been double booked. No apology. This service is tnot fit for purpose. As for the therapist Sarah I believe she was called seemed to have more interest in the clothes I wore than providing any helpful information Be very careful I came here after 10 years NHS therapy and the condition can be debilitating for long periods at a time. None of what I told her that was relevant was written in the report. No help whatsoever

Got my funding about a year and a half ago. Had my assessment last November (2021) and not heard my results since. Only time I hear anything is when I contact them. I understand they were hit hard by covid but getting a diagnosis and waiting for one is having a big impact on my life.

They did not diagnose me as autistic, which is by the by even though I disagree, but I felt like in the feedback appointment they linked everything back to me being trans and having anxiety in a way that felt arbitrary. It seemed whenever I said something about myself that had traits of being on the spectrum, they just reworded it to me in a way that seemed less autistic and said I just think I'm autistic because I have confirmation bias basically. Friends and family are nudging me to get a second opinion. I felt like I wasnt listened to and I was patronised, and that they paid more attention to how I acted as opposed to what I said about my own experiences, and then applied a very stereotypical frame to it.
