I'd like to say I thought this service was good, however... First off, there is a mismatch between the price shown on the boards and the actual fare. Any shop that displayed one price but charged more would soon have problems with Trading Standards; not so, I suspect for the grandees of the City Council. Second, the driver was surly - probably hacked off with passengers not aware of the correct fare - well, it's not my fault either, thank you. Thirdly, it isn't clear why a park and ride journey should pause for a few minutes in the bus station complex. Are Preston Council expecting people to gooffsomewhere else by bus? I think they need to consider the purpose of the scheme and the ambitions of the potential customers. Fourthly, the trip in passes several car parks, each displaying their prices. Assuming these prices are accurate (unlike the P&R, which is incorrectly stated as 1.60 per person rather than 1.70), a short stay would be significantly cheaper for 2 adults than the P&R. Hmmm.

Yes the price is good and normally the route is quick, but try to time leaving Preston so as not to coincide with rush hour. Traffic is hardly moving a 10min trip has already taken 30mins and we are only half way back @ 17:20.
