Ordered from here a few times, it can be a bit hit and miss, but overall more hits than misses. Overall we've ordered the following; Prawn Crackers - 4/5 Crispy, good flavour, and hold their shape for scooping. Prawn toast 3/5 - Greasy, not enough prawn topping in my opinion. Prawn rolls 5/5 - Banging, good chunks of prawn and a nice flavour overall, go great with sweet sour/hoi sin. BBQ Spare Ribs 4/5 - Always decent, not the best ribs in Preston, or the meatiest, but certainly can't be complained about. Duck 3/5 - The first time it was a 4, as we got the full 1/4 duck, but on the most recent order we just received a container of shredded/chopped duck meat along with a leg bone as it to say "promise it's a quarter". In addition to the above disappointment the meat was greasy, cold, and sad... Sweet Sour Prawn 5/5 - Separate Sauce is a big win in our household, the prawns always arrive crispy, steaming hot, and lightly battered. Inside are big, juicy, succulent prawns that are delicious by themselves, with the sauce or with something else. Singapore Vermicelli/Noodles 5/5 - Star of the show, Huge portion and LOADS of meat, chicken, pork, prawns, King Prawn, the lot. Really tasty sauce with fresh crunchy veg, it is a bit on the spicy side, but worth the burn. Personally prefer the noodles to the Vermicelli, they work really well with the dry "sauce". Special Fried Rice 4/5 - The rice and the fillings are on point, but the sauce let's this dish down, it's very bland and brings nothing to the table apart from gloopy "meh"ness. Recommend asking for it with sauce. Chips and Curry Sauce 4.5/5 - Banging, again not the best in Preston but always on point, personally I add a lashing of salt and vinegar when it arrives, good spice kick from the curry. Overall I think some of the reviews have been a bit harsh, or just had bad experiences. There have been a couple of occasions where the food hasn't been GREAT but generally Lucky Star gets more things right than they mess up.
