Alcedo Care Preston

I was offered the home care assistant job from Preston branch. I was asked to do online training which took more than 2 days and there was a 03 day induction. They took my availability schedule and asked me to get a business insurance to the car. Few days later, they told me they cant offer me the job due to a business decision not to employ students. Luckily I did not resigned from my existing job. But as I did not get any shifts, I had no income for the last month. Is this company a joke?

Nothing but positive and respectful staff that work for the alcedo care, very polite and supportive always taking in your needs they couldn't do better, would definitely recommend them for people who are wanting to go into the care industry.

Love my job here. Been here nearly 3 years. Had my ups and downs as healthcare in general is a difficult sector to work in at this time. But with the support from managers I've been signed up to my NVQ and received multiple progression opportunities within the service.
