When my daughter's windscreen cracked, rendering the car undriveable (unless she wanted to risk three points on her license and a fine) we contacted one of the main windscreen replacement chains. Couldn't even get an appointment for over a week and would have involved a 30 mile round trip, a day off work an who knows how much waiting around. These guys came to the house first thing on the morning after I called them and replaced the broken windscreen in around an hour. Perfect!
