        We actually stayed at a hotel 3 streets away the Claremont we found this park on Google maps, it's absolutely stunning had a lovely walk around vwey clean, lots of dog walkers, beautiful sights the lake is very peaceful I even saw a kingfisher for the 1st time, we sat there for some time enjoying watching the ducklings and observing the wildlife u can definitely have a day out here with the big fields the river for the kids, park shame my son is older it's definitely somewhere he would have loved as a young boy exploring with a picnic
