Compared to other Charity furniture stores this was rather expensive.i am a great advocate of the charity but I think lowering prices would entice more customers.. I ppeeciate they have a second store on Fishergate. That may be better

Charity starts at home Charity starts at home they say, and I can assure you that it is where its going to stays after a very unpleasant encounter with the jobs-worth driver from Emmaus, who didnt think a mid century display cabinet was modern enough for their shop, so refused to accept the gift. If thats the thanks you get for offering to donate to charity, Im done with it - never again!

Huge warehouse with a varied selection of of used furniture with a few new and unused items. Quality of the stock varies depending on what is available. Some items are brand-new whilst others are really only fit for the skip. Most of the stock is used, showing signs of wear, but reasonably priced. If you buy with care you can save money on buying new and have plenty of use out of the goods.
