Yet again patients allowed inside clinic 40mins before blood clinic starts but no tickets put out till 1pm by which time there are 20+ patients all clambering fir a ticket . Furthermore when I went the board was in foyer saying blood clinic closed as is now full . I saw people turning away . The board had been left there from day before . The clinic hadnt even started so I ignored it & went inside & asked receptionist . She said it is closed at moment but u can wait if u want . By 10past 1 there were over 40 patients waiting . What has gone wrong with blood clinics & why is Ashton so disorganised . Ill say again its not rocket science.

I'm giving a five star review due to the nurse who did my bloods today. The way the clinic is run is an absolute shambles. We all had to wait outside then pick up a ticket and wait for your number. I've never been a fan of bingo because I always loose and today was no different! 90 minutes wait. Really do feel sorry for the nurse who was ace and alone. It's run really really really badly though.

Made to queue up outside in the freezing cold, with an elderly relative for blood clinic. They could have at least allowed people through the doors into the waiting room. Then when I asked why people couldnt at least wait inside, was told they didnt start blood clinic for another 15 minutes & to complain to the trust if I wasnt happy! Then at 1300..a member of staff walked along the queue, counted 30 people & told the rest to go home as they were now full!
