He quickly provided me with a number of potential options from a straight replacement to an upgrade. The information provided allowed me to make an informed decision. The service was both quick and friendly and Tony fitted the new cartridge within a couple of days as well as providing me with valuable tips on how to get the best out of my new cartridge.         If you ever wondered why there's such a fuss about vinyl long playing records going on its because of genuine enthusiasts like Tony Hesketh, owner and proprietor of Phonostage records. Tony has a wealth of experience and knowledge about all things hi-fi alongside his extensive vinyl shop. He stocks some excellent quality hi-fi equipment and will offer you honest opinions about whatever your requirements may be. I went last week and drooled over the Nottingham built record decks he sells and the hand built British made speakers. If you're looking for a hi-fi seller who won't bamboozle you with twaddle but knows just which dials you may want to twiddle pay this man a visit. He will not let you down.
