Steve has been an excellent help to me throughout the past few months, I honestly cannot recommend him enough.

After trying unsuccessfully with a few NHS therapists, I wish I had looked into private therapy and found Cornerstone Counselling sooner. Steve has helped me for over 2 years, and at first I was convinced I was unfixable and completely broken, but he showed me thats not true and he gave me the techniques and strategies to get myself to a great place. Steve is accessible, flexible and adaptable; but he is also understanding, thoughtful, sensitive, compassionate, he listens carefully when I need him to, but also provides solutions and reminds me how to recognise and deal with feelings that come with my circumstances. 5 stars doesnt seem to represent how much Steve has helped me.

Steve is a very competent therapist and his calm, open and reflective manner quickly provided me a space to really open up myself and explore all the themes and situations in my life which had led me to seek therapy and support. I suppose I had a few preconceived ideas of what therapy would be like, perhaps very serious and probing. However Steve really put me at ease and I felt we were able to speak on a very human level. It has always been my choice as to what we speak about and he gently poses questions or provides possible ways of approaching things. I have just finished my 15th session today and genuinely feel his help has been pivotal in my recovery and in my life trajectory. Thanks Steve! I would recommend Cornerstone Counselling to anybody who felt like they needed support.

I have been working with Steve for a few months over Zoom which I thought would be difficult not being in person but he made me feel at ease and was very professional. I have come away with what I needed from the sessions and has helped me massivly think outside the box and but things into perspective for myself. I have completed the sessions i feel needed but Steve has assued myself if I did need any councillor sessons he would fit me in were he could which is very reassuring. I would highly reccomend. I have been attending counselling with Steve now for two years and I honestly cannot recommend him enough to anybody. We have covered a vast range of topics during our sessions and the work we have done together has enabled me to reflect on my traumatic and difficult experiences. Steves patient approach has allowed me to get to a place in my life in which I have never been; I am hopeful and willing to make positive changes to progress myself into a happier person. I have attended many different types of counselling sessions throughout my life but none have been as helpful or as insightful as Cornerstone Counselling sessions. If you are in need of additional support or are struggling, I highly recommend this counselling service.
