Run by volunteers, this library is better than it ever was. A brilliant selection of books, and the community activities are so varied and inclusive, from knitting, computer classes, to the Memory Lounge, to the watercolour, Italian and yoga classes. Not to mention the cinema on Saturdays and the special literary events, such as the evening with Kamila Shamsie, acclaimed author of "Home Fires", which was set in the local community, and which won the Women's Prize for Fiction. This is such a valuable asset to the community. Thank you so much to the volunteers that run the library.
