St Catherine's Hospice is surrounded by beautiful tended gardens and woodland. Nature is encouraged via the many bird feeders, wetland and marshland. There are woodland areas, with also a river running through. Public can visit for short strolls or dog walking. The environment is peaceful and tranquil, with many flowers and plants to be seen all year round. On site is The Mill cafe, a very popular place to eat and or enjoy a drink and snack. There is outdoor seating in which dogs are welcome. Food is made to the very highest standard and is well presented. Booking is strongly advised. There is also an additional charity shop, worth a visit. The cafe and shop is supported with many volunteer workers, all of who are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Please do not drive past without visiting, you won't regret it!

My father passed away at This hospice on the 2nd of August and whens he was still able to speak even he said the care here was amazing. I will forever Be grateful for how they treated him. They knew him for about a week and when he passed every nurse on shift came and said goodbye. God forbid if anyones family member is ill I would highly recommend this hospice.

Moonlight walk- amazing atmosphere. Extremely well organised and all the volunteers were so friendly and helpful. First time taking part and we will definitely be doing again next year. 4 miles walk took 2 he 12 mins but we walked fast. Will be doing 10 mile walk next year. Everywhere signed posted so you could get lost and Marshall out advising you. St Catherines van drive around continually to make sure all was save. End of the walk you receive a medal, hot drink and a bacon or sausage barmcake. We did this for our mums and will do it again for all the mums, dads and family members who have been lost over the years.
