Having researched reviews, we commissioned Price and Price (Shaun Price) to construct a one-storey extension to our semi-detached house; internal work including new kitchen fitting following re-design that included provision for a utility area; front room re-configuration and new bathroom. External work including garden paving design and build. Shaun was able to recommend an architect (Rob Sherwood) to us and we were very pleased, as well as being surprised, as to what actually could be achieved with the draft plans. When embarking on such a project, there will be inevitable stress. There will be upheaval and one must accept that not everything will run to schedule, especially involving third parties. A particular strength, which filled us with confidence, was Shauns direct and continual communication, which served to mitigate anxieties. As an example, due to circumstances that could not possibly be anticipated, kitchen delivery could not take place on the booked day. The knock-on effect a change in delivery date can cause cannot be understated. This situation required Shauns ability to adapt and re-jig schedules involving a number of sub-contractors e.g. kitchen fitters; joiners; plasterers and electrician to work round the problem and keep delivery on track. Our faith in Shaun and his team was fully justified. Every member of the team was punctual, amiable and readily receptive to last minute aesthetic tweaks to design and requests such as door width changes and additional radiator work. All of the work has been completed to an exceptional standard. A house, that wasnt easy to love and lacked warmth, has been transformed into a beautiful home and we are beyond ecstatic with the results. Shaun was able to further recommend a flooring company (Banks Flooring Solutions), who we were also extremely pleased with. Whilst we knew our budget and ultimate financial limitation, we were very pleased that there were no nasty surprises during the work and there was minimal deviation from the original quote and payment plan. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Price and Price, whose reputation for high standards; communication and management of projects, is fully deserved. Shaun and his team have done a great job building our garden room. We are so pleased with it. Everyone who worked on it was polite, respectful of our property and professional. There were no loud radios or bad language, which kept us and the neighbours happy. We would recommend Price and Price if you are thinking of any building project. Service: Home extension services

Our dream space made real. When it came to building our dream extension, it had to be Shaun and his team, a decision made due to the awesome work he had completed on a neighbouring property. We didnt even get any other quotes as we were so certain about the decision. After the initial consultation Shaun informed us there would be an 18 month lead time which turned out to be spot on. The fact Shaun was in such demand gave us confidence wed made the correct choice and allowed us time to think about the various design elements. What can I say, this is an extremely knowledgeable, likeable and above all professional and skilled team. As strange as it seems I loved the entire process despite some obvious practical challenges associated with a winter build. Shaun and his team were just fabulous, trust the process and use Shaun for his astute design eye, he knows what will and wont work. Our build was pretty complicated due to the shape of the back of the property, we removed the entire back wall and internal supporting walls and so fair amount of structural steel was involved. It was pretty scary seeing the house propped up in the way it was but you know youre in super safe hands, nothing phased Shaun and the team. My only regret with this entire build is we wish we had done it earlier. This has completely transformed our home giving us a much more functional, pleasing and above all, a beautiful living space. We cant thank or recommend Price & Price enough - just a great team of truly hardworking and dedicated professionals. If you want somebody who is highly skilled, hardworking, professional, knowledgeable and always willing to think outside of the box, you cant go wrong with Shaun and his team. Shaun Price is fantastic. He's everything you want and need a project mananager to be. Organised, honest, friendly, good at communicating, easy to get hold of and well connected (what he doesn't know he'll always find someone that does). He makes the whole process seamless which really took the stress and anxiety out of our build. No job is too big (or complicated) for this amazing team. We had a 8m x 8m ground floor extension and garage conversion on a 2 storey house. All but 2 of the existing internal walls were removed with several very large pieces of steel put in. This was a big job and the team worked tirelessly through difficult weather conditions to ensure it was completed to a high standard with minimal disruption to our family. The team of tradesman really are exceptional. Every single one of them is highly skilled, friendly, tidy and respectful. There is no weak link in this team. I'd like to personally thank each of you for your hard work building us a home that we, our friends and family absolutely love. If you are looking for a builder and want a team who will work hard to complete the work to the highest standard, are knowledgable and respectful of you and your neighbours then look no further. I cannot reccomend this Shaun and his amazing team enough.
