Returned a form in January and 2 days later, I never received my payment. I have chased it up 3 times to be told it was escalated. After the last call I received my payment a week later. Haven't received confirmation of the decision for my benefit to be reinstated. If I hadn't called, I would have still been waiting! Today, I have received exactly the same form asking for me to return it.... Aaaaargh, disgusting service and obviously they do not update their records properly

Awful experience, claimed CA July 22, mum passed away jan 23. Claim still with descision maker. They seem to forget how traumatic it is having to go through everything again each time I call and still not get any help. I am a NMC nurse and cared full time for my mum. How much would this have cost the NHS if I had not stepped in?

Mum went into hospital.. called to inform carers department on same day. now 4 months later and i'm told the claim is suspended and NOT closed down. This has been causing problems for other benefits. Despite 6 phonecalls i'm told it is still showing on 'the system' as suspended and not closed. Apparantly last month was marked as URGENT to close the claim but still not done. Ridiculous nonsense
