We engaged with Walker Electrical to provide services at Caton Court student accommodation. To this date they have provided professional, accessible and comprehensive services. I would advise them to any businesses with complex and varied electrical needs.

Just called our business and when I asked what it was they were calling about as I couldn't hear very clearly, abruptly said they just explained and hung up. Very rude and uncalled for.

First of all the team are pleasant that Ive spoken to and no one is rude. This is not the problem the organisation is terrible. I asked for 2 floodlights to be fitted to the external of a hotel to replace some old decoration up down lights. The engineer arrived first of all with absolutely no equipment. No clips to secure the wires to the wall, nothing to even drill into the wall to mount the light itself, oh and no screws. So I had an engineer sent who was set up for failure before he even got there. The engineer said he will get someone to come with a drill and clips another day. For the privilege of an engineer with no equipment I was charged for 2 hours work with absolutely nothing done. 1 Week passes and a new date is arranged. The day arrives and even though Walker electrical knew a ladder was essential for the works as they attended 1 week earlier they sent someone with a step ladder. The engineer straight away said I cant reach them lights instead you will need to hire a cherry picker for 100 even though a ladder is perfectly reasonable for the job. Also the first engineer said a ladder was fine its so inconsistent as though each engineer just couldnt be bother to do the job. In the end nothing got done but I got charged 72 for this privilege. In the end I got another electrician from a different company who came out and quoted half the cost this company did completely certified and safe. He went up a ladder no fuss did the job in just over 10 minutes. Such a simple job made into so much hassle
