Love the staff & doctors are very family oriented and supportive. I have known them since I was a child and they have seen my children grow into adults too. Always trying to improve their service for the users. Obviously not perfect as nothing ever is but best doctors around my area for miles. I hear horror stories from other practices and thank my lucky stars I am with Dr Hamad and Dr Dawoud jnr.

I had to join from another large practice and it was just before I had spinal surgery. The staff and doctors do have alot of patients to deal with.Everything was transferred over in a week(more or less). The only problem I find, that I never had at my old practice,in penwortham. Is actually getting an appointment when you really need one. Rang at 8am as it used to be,was told to ring back at 8.15,so I did. I was 13th in the queue and was told the last appointment, had just been delegated to someone. I had to go to work at 1pm in great pain as I couldnt get an appointment.Funny enough I was in the surgery the previous week and overheard the receptionists talking about appointments and the people that needed them. What I heard was shocking and couldnt believe what they did I now know why I didnt get that unlucky 13th place appointment. Apart from that, things are all good and I have been treated well by them. I certainly hope they read this and respond to it.

** The below are things to think about if you are thinking of joining this practice!! ** Needed to see a doctor was told to call at 8:15am (it was only 8am) at 8:15 I called it took 2mins to get through and a further min to get through the automated message at 8:20am all morning appointments had gone! I now have to call or go to the surgery for an afternoon appointment from 1pm! I hardly ever use the doctors and when I do am consistently up against a hyperthetical brick wall, if I was to book an appointment it's 2 weeks! Also it would appear that the doctor ( not the locums) does not deal with men am not happy. Lastly you can only order a prescription on the phone from 1030~1230 Mon to Fri or when you fill out a form and return with photo ID you can then do online, most ppl work at those times why can't I be allowed to or a repeat prescription from the usual chemist! Not happy
