Argos Preston in Sainsbury's

Shop ok like every Argos, the but very unpleasant lady served us, we wanted to return the purchased item because it did not suit us. The lady who served us looked as if she was doing her job for punishment. Will try not to go there again.

Absolutely disgusting customer service by a so called manager named Odette. She was highly miserable and I was shouted at in front of my little girl who was left traumatised.

Appalling customer service. Looks like it wasnt just for me from the other reviews. Bought a PS5 online as a present for my wife. Drove 30 minutes to pick it up, only to be asked for ID due to it having an 18+ game with it which is ridiculous as Im 30 this year and cant remember the last time I was IDd in a bar. Told the staff that I didnt have it on me and that I could show a picture of my ID. Was told that they couldnt accept that as it could have been tampered with. I wouldnt have minded as much if there was a bit of empathy, but It was evident that she couldnt care less. Ridiculously pedantic to the point where I think this particular member of staff enjoys getting off on the power trip of refusing service. I cancelled my order and went elsewhere. Based on my review and others, Id recommend not using this store if youre going to order from Argos. I wouldnt even give them the satisfaction of your business if they cant be bothered to hire decent staff.
