I was doing online chat and asked 2 questions. I was given an answer and no chance to reply and make the booking as the agent just shut the chat down and had a weird attitude. I went to Hayes Travel instead where I received a 5* service.

Its so easy to give a 5 star review when youve received excellent service, and your plans have come to fruition without a hitch. More difficult to attain though when youve had to cancel your cruise because almost 800 has been added to your booking at the last minute. Not sure at the moment if it is the agency or cruise line at fault, or a mixture of the two, but I do recognise that throughout the several calls and emails, and the dissatisfaction at losing a cruise we were so looking forward to, one person stood out. Julia Pedder took up the cudgel for us (she was unlucky enough to answer my phone call on a Sunday!). Throughout she has been empathetic, fighting our corner, and staying totally loyal to her employer. The outcome was not something any of us wanted, but Julia has been the epitome of what great customer service is all about. She certainly gets our ABCD award (Above, Beyond the Call of Duty). Thank you Julia.

I set Katja at cruise 118 the task of sorting out a holiday package that included a night on the Orient Express and a Fjords cruise - a long term wish of my wife and one I wanted to provide as a 25th Wedding anniversary surprise. Katja excelled herself to meet my required dates, with various flight connections. hotel stays, trains and a big ship thrown into the mix. She worked some late hours and called it her mission to get it sorted, especially after one 1st date slot got filled up before we could book it. Katja is a true star, going the extra mile and cant wait for the trip now. Highly recommend cruise 118. Thank you
