Visited the other day to get my Covid booster Managed to get my flu jab at the same time, which saved a separate visit to the surgery, very useful My only complaint, which is not necessarily the fault of the place itself, is that I had a fairly lengthy wait to get vaccinated This was due to the fact that people were turning up late for their appointments but kept getting called in before me, even though I had been waiting for over half an hour Whilst I appreciate that their appointment time was before mine, the fact that they arrived up to 25 minutes late but still got served before me was very frustrating I dont mind the queue being jumped by people with carers, special needs, disabled etc., but the ones who are late should be made to wait for a free slot rather than being attended to in front of people who turned up at the correct time

We were referred for IVF treatment via NHS to private hospital. Treatment provider asked us to sign Fee Agreement to give them permission to issue invoices if they decide that there are more tests or treatments required outside Preston CCG funding. We refused to sign it and they simply stopped communicating to us for over 2 months without any explanation. We ended up with the fridge full of drugs and no treatment plan. We asked Preston CCG to transfer the treatment to the hospital of our choice as required by law if the treatment is not being provided for over 28 days for non-clinical reason. Primary Care Manager organized the transfer against our will to the hospital of their choice (we were unable to work out if it was a mistake or deliberate action) with Significantly Lower than National Average Success Rate for Frozen Embryo Transfer saying that we have to accept treatment here or come back to the original hospital that changed it's name 4 times within last 4 years and has No Approved Birth Success Rate according to HFEA. Preston CCG refuse to fund good quality service. CCG Officer refused to provide name of the person who made a mistake so we believe that this incident was not even recorded as required by law. Also Officer refused to provide the name and the position of the person who advised not to fund required treatment at selected by us hospital. Patients don't mean anything for Preston CCG. Unfortunately, this service is funded by our taxes. They simply offered to complain...
