        WAS a great place but its gone down the pan in the last couple of years, no cask ale, poor samples of beers. No longer my favourite watering hole. Damm shame .

        The Thurlby Club is an Essential part of my week & apart of my relaxing weekend. If you normally have a pint or a drink after work on a Thursday - Sunday and want to grab a quiet drink on your way home from work, the Thurlby club is the place to go. Its a members club , the fee is soo small its 15 a year! And the price of a pint is half of what it would be in town, its located in a upscale neighbourhood in Ashton-on-Ribble , basically across from Morrisons by the docks, all the members are so kind and friendly and welcoming. Very much like a second or third family. They have little events and live performance singers and have Irish musicians too. Going into town is too much hassle, time & money and the town centre crowd isnt something Im always comfortable with. The Thurlby club is a perfect pit stop to have a quick quiet relaxing pint before I get home. Great Prices, Great People, Great Location.
