Traditional church. Friendly congregation. Vicar Phillip and wife Caroline are very friendly and welcoming. They go the extra mile for St John's Church.

A lovely-sounding peal of eight bells cast in 1910 by John Taylor & Co. of Loughborough. The ring is in the key of E flat with the tenor bell weighing 21-1-23 cwt or 1,090 kg. Practice night is given as Monday with an 18:30 start.
