Inglewood Boutique Rooms with Self Catering

Great weekend stay in Chorley. I didn't want to stay in the "proper" hotels along the main road to the north and south of the city because they are too far away from the center, so I found these rooms. They have large, clean, basic rooms just a short walk to the center. Wi-Fi is included. You can come and go as you please, without hassle. Make friends with the nice house pooch when you arrive. They may have the wrong phone number posted on Google for this place.

I set my check-in for 2pm and upon arrival at 3:15 the room was not ready. I had a business meeting and needed access to the room. I left for my meeting and when I returned at 6, the room was still not locked and ready for me. I also never received towels, so could not dry hands or shower. The room itself had torn drapes which did not completely cover the window, a large carpet burn, and a deadbolt lock that did not work. There was no refrigerator for personal items and the bedding smelled too strongly of detergent as if they were overly washed and irritated my skin. The entire stay I had the strong impression that people actually live there and are sharing the space with short stay guests. Very uncomfortable overall.
