Deans Bakery

Waited 20 minutes in the queue while 3 people attempted to change the till roll. The queue was backed up outside. Got to the front to be told there were no pies for 20 minutes!!!! The butter pie was so dry it went in the bin. Used to be a good pie shop. Shame really.

i was introduced to deans by a friend and the best decision ive ever made was going here. the sandwiches are made to order and always packed full with fresh salad and meats. the bread is so soft and fresh. the traybakes and cakes are always so delicious (the apple slices are life changing - a must try for anyone visiting). the pies are to die for, the pastry is buttery and delicious. i had never tried a butter pie until i visited here but its the only place i will eat them. ive never had anything bad from this place. the staff are lovely and ive never had a bad experience here. just beware most days you will have to queue if youre going for lunch but its so worth it i promise you.

Beautiful pies, best in area well worth the wait always a long queue at lunchtime, get there early.
