This is good campsite for what you pay. Far cheaper than some of the more luxurious campsites around that area. We have just left after the bank holiday weekend and it was busy. Positives - lots of space and good views, lots of walks nearby, toilets and showers downsides - Lots of big groups who are very noisy till late into the morning. We were there before it got busy and people pitched around us who were very loud and noisy, those directly behind us had their engine running all night which wasnt plesant, we were tempted to move but didnt. Fires - i dont mind them but some nights there were that many that the whole place was so smoggy it started to play havoc with my sons asthma. I was surprised given there were signs around the county that they were banned they were allowed. I didnt find the toilets and showers too bad and went when they werent busy, but the temp of the water was hit and miss. All in all its a lovely location, would i go again? Not sure, we didnt get much sleep due to the noise...maybe if we wanted cheap....
