Candover Valley Pre School - Ofsted Outstanding in All Areas

We are so happy that we chose this Pre-School for our daughter. The staff are delightful; kind, welcoming and highly professional. Our two year old settled in very quickly and absolutely loves her sessions at CVP. The atmosphere is nurturing and inclusive but there is also plenty of stimulation, with a great range of activities on offer. The forest school sessions are a particular favourite with our daughter. Shes grown in confidence since starting here and her vocabulary has broadened rapidly. Most importantly, she is happy and secure in this setting, and we drop her off knowing that she will have a wonderful time.

Louis loves this place. Every morning a warm welcome followed by an exciting day, be it exploring book corner, making mud pies in the mud kitchen or a small woodland walk - all supported by the amazing dedicated staff.

What a wonderful Pre-School, right in the heart of the Candover Valley! The Pre-School is close to neighboring villages, such as Ellisfield, The Candovers, Axford, Dummer and Cliddesden, as well as Hatch Warren and Kempshott. We have recently placed our daughter into Candover Valley Pre-School and cannot rate it high enough. Our daughter absolutely loves going in every day! It's such a joy to see. Lisa, the Head Teacher, Donna, the Deputy Head Teacher and Annie the Senior Pre-School Assistant are just AMAZING and we have definitely seen huge change with our daughter since she started, noticeably with her vocabulary, speaking and imaginary play. Staff are nurturing and are also constantly helping children to develop into confident, happy young people. Standards are set high and children get involved in a number of activities. They are encouraged to have free play, inside and outside and can also join the ever popular Forest School, held on a Tuesday and Thursday by Annie in the Sainsbury's estate. Being charity run with a parental committee means that parents really can get involved with their children's development at the school. There is a real sense of community, which is just lovely.

We are so happy we discovered Candover Valley Preschool when searching for a place for our 2.5yr old daughter. It is a hidden gem, offering a unique preschool experience. She absolutely loves her days there and always comes out smiling and eager to tell us what she has been up to - she especially loves all of the outdoor play equipment such as the mud kitchen, water table and slide, exploring nature in forest school, climbing on the indoor climbing frame and participating in the group activities the teachers put on for the children such and baking and play dough making, just a few of the many activities and resources available to her each day! During these turbulent times, the staff have provided her with a safe, caring and fun environment to explore, learn, grow and, most importantly, just be herself and have fun. We feel all of the staff really take the time to get to know each individual child and their family and also really encourage communication and input from all families.
