Great service - seen on time. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good choice of frames and lots of helpful advice on choosing the right ones.

This optician failed to spot that mum needed laser treatment to correct her vision. Despite her returning them to twice because the 400 glasses they had sold her were doing nothing. Eventually, on her GP's advice, she got a second opinion from Specsavers in Cleveleys. They spotted the problem immediately and referred her for laser surgery. They were flabbergasted that the problem wasn't spotted at the original appointment. When I spoke with Wyre View about this they made no attempt to rectify the issue. Instead I was told mum didn't explain herself properly (she's 85 and had to go in on her own because of Covid) and that the problem must have started after the appointment. It didn't and mum did tell the optician at the time that she had a film over her eyes. She also mentioned it when she took the glasses back. Mum had her laser treatment in September 21. This could have been alot sooner had she been referred at the outset. At a follow up appointment at Specsavers she was given a new prescription for reading glasses as the original one from Wyre View wasn't correct. I like to support local businesses and chose this optician because it was small and independent and I hoped it would be a better experience for mum during the Covid restrictions. Unfortunately she has been completely let down by this company. I will certainly not be using them again and would definitely not recommend them to anyone else.
