If you want to know how a business loses sales , go to this branch and appear like a normal retail customer . Go to the sales counter and there you will see the best example of customer avoidance . Unless you look like a tradesman you will receive no eye contact , not enjoy a coffee whilst you have a non business conversation with said sales ( not) staff and not be able to interrupt a conversation to a supplier . Simples , a company buys something , sells at a profit , profit pays direct and indirect costs and excess held as cash and dividend to shareholders . What this branch has not understood is you actually have to support such sales , whom ever the customer is . Nice drive to Wickes , great range , helpful staff ...give this outfit a miss , unless you appreciate being treated as a second class citizen.
