Hilltop Barn Weddings

Although we decided to go with another venue because we can book a date with them for 2024, I wanted to leave a review because of the experience we had. Charlie was so friendly and showed us around the venue for about 45 minutes answering all our questions. We then wanted to show our parents and his parents kindly agreed to show us round again a few days later. The barn itself is gorgeous and was made into a wedding venue for Charlie's brother's wedding. If you want a venue which is value for money, has stunning views, is very relaxed and is run by an incredibly thoughtful family then this is the venue for you!

We got married at Hilltop Barn on August 13, 2022, and had the most incredible day. Charlie and his team were fantastic and the venue is really something special. Would recommend to anyone thinking of getting married here.

Attended a wedding at this venue and the setting was beautiful. Lovely outdoor space and feels remote enough to be away from everything but accessible by car and taxi. Loads of places for great photos and perfect relaxed atmosphere for a party or wedding.

The Perfect Stress-Free Wedding: As the name suggests, Hilltop is set amongst the most picturesque meandering rural landscape views. A beautiful venue hosted by and matched by, a warm and welcoming family; Charlie and the team were so helpful before, on the day of, and after the wedding itself. When looking for a venue, you're of course sold by the aesthetics, but there's so much more to consider. The planning of the day itself is supposed to be one of the most stressful things you can do, cramming & orchestrating everything to arrive/be ready the day before or the morning of the wedding. One of the biggest benefits of Hilltop, though, was that we had the venue for THE ENTIRE WEEK prior to the wedding. This was an absolute dream for coordinating caterers, musicians, entertainers, florists, table hire companies etc. (By the way, Charlie & team had LOADS of fantastic recommendations here, they're so well connected), and just getting a general feel for the space - we were free to come and go as we pleased for that week. It just made everything so stress-free. The flexibility of the venue itself is unmatched; able to bring your own indoor/outdoor caterers (we had a pizza van out front!) No silly curfews and no intrusive owners. A lot of venues we looked at were just overly restrictive, whether that was choice of food [having to use their caterers] or a rigid bar choice, or music 'rules' We were able to bespoke our wedding exactly as we had planned. YOU CAN EVEN HAVE YOUR GUESTS CAMP HERE! The little things mean a lot, and Charlie was always on hand to help with every aspect you could think of. P.S. I bet you don't go and view any other venue with a table tennis table there - this goes down a storm with your guests, unless you're an ultra-boring couple with ultra boring family&friends.

Just had our wedding at Hilltop. I couldn't recommend the place enough. If you want a laid back venue that you can make your own then get in touch with Charlie. It has a great dance floor, views, bar and plenty of space for all the external suppliers. From our first viewing, all the way up to the wedding day itself Charlie was so helpful and happily replied to the Mrs countless questions without complaint. We also loved the wine tasting that he organised in the build up to choose our table wine. For us, it was the perfect venue.
