M.A. Fox Opticians

It's my first time using Fox opticians in Poynton and they were excellent. Johny gave me advice on styles, and took time to show me different frames and suggested which styles were better for me. When the glasses were ready Johny made sure the fit was right and that I was happy with everything. The process was relaxed and thorough and I'm really happy with the results.

I could not recommend Nicholas, Johny and the whole team more highly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Their care, thoughtfulness, expertise and professionalism was second to none. In my sixty years experience of opticians they have been just the best! A very big thank you to you all. I simply LOVE my new glasses!!

Fantastic from start to finish! The receptionist was friendly, the eye test itself which was done by Christine was really professional and thorough. The choosing of glasses and frames was second to none! I have never received so much help at any other opticians and consequently, I am now very happy with my new glasses

I have been visiting Mr Michael Fox for over 40 years, during which time, he and his Team's professional, attentive, and friendly service has been exemplary throughout. Although Michael has now retired, he has left the friendly Family Business in the excellent care of his 2 Sons, Johnny and Nick, who are 2 of the Resident Optometrists in the Poynton, and Wilmslow Branch. They and their Team adhere to the very high standards of care, set by Michael, and have provided me with very enjoyable appointments, over the years, and also my Wife who after my recommendation has been visiting M.A. Fox Opticians for 22 years. I have always been made to feel valued, and comfortable by Johnny and all the Team, as they have greeted me with a warm, welcoming smile. The Eye Examinations have been done with the upmost care and respect, and Johnny has talked me through every test, making me feel assured and in good knowledgeable hands. Afterwards I have been shown to a Consulting Table at the back of the Shop where Johnny or the Team have discussed the Examination results with me, and what lenses i have needed, and once I have chosen the Glasses Frames that I like, from the affordable, well stocked, and superb range of Frames, including exclusive varieties, we would return to the Consultation Table, where I was given the chance to try on any of these Frames, and to look into the long mirror provided. Johnny and the Team were very helpful in helping me to decide which Frames suited me the best, and then final details were agreed. During this time, being personally assessed, I have been offered a lovely cup of Coffee, and a fancy little biscuit to enjoy whilst we have been in discussion and trying on the Frames. Today I had an appointmentwith Christine the Optometrist, regarding a referral for a Cataract Operation, and Julie the Team member who was there to greet me, and to look after all my needs, putting me at ease, whilst being friendly and courteous. Aa always I find my visit a very pleasant experience, from walking through the door into the ultra clean and tidy, aesthetically pleasing spacious Reception - (being ideal for Wheelchair users), which enhances the displays of Glasses Frames making them very easy to choose from. The Optometrists and their Team are exceptional for all their hard work and dedication that they put into providing a 1st class service, in the exemplary manner and personal touch, which M.A. Fox Opticians have always been renowned for, and making every individual feel special and valued, throughout their appointment, and after care, with total dedication and professionalism throughout. They are definitely worthy of praise and definitely an Optician to attend. Duncan Ord
