Richard Lowth & Co

We rented via Richard Lowth for 3+ years. We initially heard some bad reviews about them, however they were always polite to us so decided to go ahead. Fast forward to leaving our tenancy and we are extremely dissatisfied with how we have been treated. Janet has been extremely rude to us since the moment we moved out, they have tried to keep the majority of the deposit we put down. We have had to go through the deposit protection scheme to get our deposit back. The deposit protection scheme sided with us and we now have the deposit we asked for back. Janet tried to charge us 600 to have the house cleaned and stated it would cost 160 to have the grass cut? When we decided to go through the deposit protection scheme she put the prices of her original quotes down. She stated she wouldnt talk to us in person about this as we werent tenants anymore. I have never been spoke to by an adult the way Janet spoke to us. We were blamed for leaving curtains up, curtains which we put back up as they were there when we arrived, for there being fingerprints on the light switches when we left, the list was endless. I would not recommend that anyone rent through this company.

Richard, Emily and Janet are absolutely wonderful at what they do ! Very professional, great communication and expert knowledge. Kept me sane throughout the whole (stressful!) process of selling/buying a home. Thank you so much guys. X
